New Discussion at W&P: How libertarians can make sense for Pagans (and everyone else)

Posted on April 18, 2013 by Gus

Libertarian Pagans at Witches and Pagans have pretty much avoided my arguments regarding libertarianism and its shortcomings, arguing that libertarianism often seems preferable to what we have now – a position I sometimes agree with.  More disturbing is their apparent willingness to base their loyalties on where someone stands on specific issues without paying much attention as to why they have that stand.  A sort of “The enemy of my friend is my enemy and the friend of my enemy is my enemy” approach.  In an attempt to demonstrate that reasoning and ideas do matter I posted a analysis of what libertarianism might look like if they took their non-aggression principle really seriously.
